On 15th February 2016, our foster prefects took part in the Hong Kong Red Cross programme.
Given the falling birth rates and the revised secondary school structure, the number of first-time blood donors started to drop last year. To arouse public concern towards the need of adequate blood supply for our community, Sun Hoi foster prefects joined the Red Cross’ Millennium Cool Blood Donors Programmes to help spread the message. In the activity, two of our foster prefects Luk Wing Ki (4B) and Chan Man Fung (5D) took the lead to donate blood on the spot. Through their participation, they wanted to encourage youngsters to take part in future blood donation actively and continuously.
