Cultural Exchange Experience for Sun Hoi Students
Twenty Sun Hoi students from S.2 to S.6 have taken part in the AFS Intercultural Fair 2015. They have experienced more than 10 different cultures in one morning in Maryknoll Father’s School. They danced, played games and tasted snacks from over 10 countries in the exhibition rooms. One of the most popular showrooms was the room showcasing Pakistani culture in which students were able to get themselves an artistic henna tattoo for free. It was great fun!
Throughout the fair, Sun Hoi students have taken an active role in interacting with exchange students from various countries such as Germany, Finland and Japan to get to know more about their home countries and their student life in Hong Kong. It was a wonderful occasion for Sun Hoi students to open their eyes to the outside world and make friends with teenagers from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. It is hoped that more students can experience the joy and fun of intercultural exchanges and interactions next year!
