宗旨 :
使學生認識個人公民責任,與家庭、鄰里,地區、社會、本院及民族國家,以至與世界的關係。
培養學生積極的生活態度和價值觀,從而培養對香港及國家的歸屬感,並為改善社會、國家及世界作出貢獻。
使學生認識人類生存、社會發展與環境保護之間關係,使他們了解可持續發展的重要,推己及人。
提高學生的個人綠化意識,進而愛護環境,尊重環境。
使學生認識東華服務精神,中國文化生活和漢族習俗,擴展至了解中國社會價值觀及傳統人文精神,培養具備本土及國家民族的情懷。
實踐東華服務精神和中國倫理文化,讓學生體會傳統中國人的審美觀和生活情趣,融入現代生活。
目標 :
讓學生對香港和國家民族有更多角度認知。
鼓勵學生參與本院活動及社會服務,培養服務精神。
提昇學生的個人環保意識和生命價值。
制定學校綠色發展和關愛校園政策,使學生具體認識碳審計、源頭減廢、有機耕種及保育樹木等綠色工作,建立正面價值觀。
認識東華精神及中國人傳統美德,培養學生的民族自尊感。
