Congratulations to the following students for their excellent performance in the yearly Speak Up! Act Out! Competition:
Isabel Chan (4A), Derek Ip (4A), Cyrus Chan, (4B), Malaika Ahmad (4B), and Clement Chu (4B).
This year the competition was held online as a radio drama. Students were provided a stimulus from which they planned a narrative and wrote a script.
In their story, a character called Hamper Heard has had a pair of glasses and a jacket stolen.
A special police investigator called Sherlock Homeless investigates the case and almost solves it. The first time he finds the allegedly stolen jacket in Deep’s wardrobe, only to realise it is a replica. The second time he finds the sunglasses in a bag belonging to a friend of Hamper, only to realise they are not the stolen pair.
Finally, Inspector Homeless is informed that Hamper Heard has hidden the sunglasses and jacket in order to defraud the insurance company.
Hamper Heard is sentenced to prison and Johnny Deep tells the press the sunglasses and jacket will be donated to charity.
We thank our students for their hard work and diligence, and we are proud of their success.
